A tribal Bokhara Jaldar rug hand-knotted with fine wool on a cotton foundation. This rug features geometric medallions set against a green background. It is new and in excellent condition. Made in Pakistan. Bokhara rugs have small, repeating geometric designs woven with fine wool. The most common Bokhara design consists of rows of “Tekke” guls or medallions (the Tekkes were one of the Turkmen tribes). Bokhara rugs are made in Pakistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, and Afghanistan. * The images provided are as accurate as possible. However, the rug’s colours may vary slightly due to differences in how monitors, smartphones, and tablets display colours.
