Perfect, non-plastic food storage option! Larger than expected, but totally welcomed!

Durable and air tight love them

I really like this set of glassware. The lids are very secure and the glass is strong. They are a great size as well. They look classy and easy to clean. The bamboo is nice and the fact that the glass is over proof is a huge plus as well.

This is a set of four square glass food storage containers with each holding 750 mL or 2 12 cups. The lids are made of bamboo with a rubber like seal, providing a very tight seal. The lids do have to be hand washed, but the glass containers are not only dishwasher safe but our oven proof up to 520°C. For food, safety reasons I am especially pleased for glass food storage as I no longer use plastic, especially to heat anything in the microwave.

This has been progressively disappointing. The first time I ordered these, one was broken. It happens and my Wayfair customer service representative was extremely helpful and ordered another set for me. The second set was even worse. One was, once again, broken. Yet I’m not done. Two more were unusable. They had parts of the seal stuck to the glass to the point I had to struggle to get the lid off. I think it was cooked on or something. These are supposed to be oven safe and microwaveable, yet I can’t use these two with that on them. It’s toxic. I also have little desire to look into possibly removing it because I don’t even want to own them at this point. I have used the remaining pieces in my first set (which she said I could keep) and found them attractive, yet the lids seem to puff upward and dislodge sometimes. The foods I remember having in them were grapefruit and coleslaw. I used them for something else too and it didn’t happen but I will not use the remaining pieces I have in a freezer, given they already expanded in the refrigerator. I guess these have become only cabinet-safe. Disappointing.
