i do a lot of personal prep cooking wanted to try something different than a 8 inch chef knife. the knife is very sharp dose not say 20 or 15. a slight bump on the skin your cut. be aware of that.

Light and nimble, I reach for it quickly, versatile and multi-purpose.

Henckels craftsmanship is outstanding, with thoughtful design decisions that make using, controlling and directing this small version of a chef's knife a pleasure. It has now replaced my unwieldy larger one that always seemed to seek out my fingertips. As a pianist, my most precious assets are once again safe in the kitchen!
