This is a pretty bare-bones LED skeleton decoration. The skeleton is medium sized, coming up to about waist height. I think it would look best staked into a tall planter or a railing planter. Sitting directly on the ground, it looks a little small and doesn't have quite the looming effect you want from a Halloween skeleton. The LEDs are the biggest drawback. They are bare and surprisingly bright, to the point that they are a little blinding in the dark. My camera was clean but the LEDs were so bright it was hard to get a clear shot. I'm planning to put some paint or foil over the front of the bulbs so the sockets glow without shining directly into visitors' eyes. The painted ribs in the chest is a nice touch instead of the draped cloth I was expecting. The battery pack has a timer and an always-on setting. Overall, I really like this as a Halloween decoration, despite the overly bright LEDs. The biggest issue is the price. For a skeleton this size, there are better options available for less money.

This skeleton garden stake looks so good in our Halloween display and adds just the right amount of spooky to the yard. The glowing eyes are nice and bright at night and really make it stand out. I also love that the arms are adjustable. We have ours stretched out so you can really see the shaggy, ripped clothing, which makes it look even creepier and gives it a fuller look. It was easy to put together and stake into the ground, and it feels sturdy once it’s in place. It seems well made and should hold up nicely to the outdoor elements throughout the Halloween season. The 49-inch height is a great size for the yard and it looks even better once it gets dark and the eyes light up. Such a fun addition to our outdoor Halloween decorations!

This guy is awesome! He is super spooky! He is even better looking in real life. He has survived two major wind and rain storms. He stayed in place. He is bigger than I expected, which is great! Def recommend

This skeleton will be perfect for my Halloween display this year. Finding the hole for the stake was a little weird, kind of have to feel around for it. The lights in the eyes are very bright and vibrant. I wish it was a solar light though and not one with batteries, but at least there is a shut off timer, so hopefully that will help save some battery life.

I ordered this to add to my annual Halloween skeleton cemetery theme decorations for my front yard. I was disappointed when I opened the box. The size seems much smaller than described, the gauze clothing was flimsy and the face hardly had any dark contrasting features. Also, the hood which covers the head did not stand up like in the picture, the skeleton hands were too white, and the stake seems very flimsy.
