Works great.

Looks good in our renovated kitchen and is powerful!

I installed this unit to replace a 15 year old over the range microwave which was vented. I am thoroughly disappointed because there is no way that this hood exhausts at 700 CFM's and it is super noisy. You cannot hear yourself talk in the kitchen or adjacent dining area when it is on level 2 or 3, and it does not perform as well as my old ducted microwave. For the price there are better choices. Although this range hood looks great with its low profile it extends vertically into the above cabinet about 15.5 inches. Although the dimensions illustrated appear very thorough, be aware of the black box sitting on top of the unit. This adds 2.5 inches to the vertical height of the unit so your cabinet needs to be at least 15 to 20 inches high depending on your duct access. Don't pay over $500 for this unit thinking you will get 700 CFM power.
