I was looking for a television stand with drawers and a lot of open shelf space. There are several products like this one. However, the others suggest they can hold only something like 50 lbs. I wanted something substantial so I would not have to worry. This stand is very strong. The iron frame (the front and back frame came in one piece) makes it very rigid, and capable of handling much more weight. The shelves are made of solid wood. The top with the drawers comes in one piece already assembled, so there is no issue with getting the drawers aligned properly. The only thing I noted is that the drawers slide on metal guides, but they are not full extension, so you cannot see the back of the drawer from above. The drawers slide OK, but the sliding tracks do not feel up to the quality of the stand itself.

I was looking for a sturdy stand that would hold my 40" TV and all my electronics. This thing is massively built...it will hold anything. The metal and wood look good. Very functional piece.

This item completed my bedroom. Not a lot of scroll work on this item, but it matches the other items perfectly. Now that I have the stand, my TV sits at a nice height, where I can watch in bed.
