I really wanted to love this door, but unfortunately, the quality was very disappointing, especially for the price. I fully understood that I was purchasing an unfinished pine door and expected to sand and stain it myself. What I did not expect was a door covered in dents and dings with wood that splintered and broke apart during normal sanding. We actually had to stop sanding because the more we worked on it, the worse some areas became. There is a difference between unfinished wood and poor-quality wood. For the price, I expected a much better product that could withstand the basic preparation required to finish it. What made the experience even more frustrating was the response to my complaint. Wayfair referred the issue to the manufacturer, whose response was that the dents didn’t affect the door’s functionality and that I should try sanding them out. The photos I submitted were already taken AFTER sanding, and sanding was making the problem worse. The issue was never whether the door could open and close. It was the poor quality of the wood and the condition in which it arrived. We’ve already invested time and materials into staining the door, so we’ll make it work, but I would not purchase it again. For the price, I expected better quality and better customer service. Save yourself the headache and purchase a door anywhere else.

We are doing renovations to our kitchen and ordered this door for our pantry area. I ordered on Sept 2nd and we were finally ready to install the door, took it out of the box and saw that it was damaged on top corner (see pictures). Since it’s passed 30 days we can’t return so we’re stuck with a damaged door

This door was the perfect complement for my pantry. I chose this door because it could be stained and keep it's wood look. Definitely a great purchase at a great price!
