So, these are pretty good for the price. I agree with some of the reviews that described them as flimsy, but I am taking steps to beef them up so that they last: treated the insides of the planter boxes with teak oil and the outside of the boxes, as well as the trellises, with spar urethane finish. Also, using exterior-rated wood glue on every joint, as well as slightly fatter screws (also exterior-rated) —hopefully I won’t end up being one of those reviewers who complains about them breaking. FYI, the urethane deepens the color of the wood and brings out the grain slightly.

It’s not the Color as advertise. My wood just plain wood looking, and the other one has more gloss on it.

The planter is just as pictured and was very easy to assemble! I was so pleased with this purchase that I feel the only appropriate thing to do is name my first born Way, middle name Fair
