A full sensory pepper experience! More fragrant and tastier grinding than the cheaper versions. The stainless and clear plastic creates a more modern look on the table vs the beautiful but more traditional all wooden ones Peugeot makes. A definite investment compared to most mills but well worth it if you love peppering everything like we do!

The reason I always go for a Peugeot Pepper mill is because the grinding mechanism is made 100% from steel components and therefore grinds pepper corns efficiently for many more years vs a pepper mill made with a plastic grinding mechanism. On the Perigold website the Peugeot Daman Pepper Mill is pictured with a metallic grinding mechanism. But when I received (May, 2026) this Peugeot Daman Mill, the grinding mechanism is made from plastic parts. See attached photo. I expected to get what Perigold's website shows: a high quality Pepper Mill built to last. Instead I got a Peugeot Daman SALT mill. I wish Perigold double checks the contents of the packaging before shipping.

The best pepper mill Ive ever had, the Cadillac of pepper mills

Very attractive and functional!

I love the look of it but it is quite stiff to turn.I am hoping it loosens up in time.
