Cage à hamster Tucker Murphy Pet ™ avec accessoires, gerbe portatif pour hamster nain et hamster syrien avec fond amovible, rampe, plateforme, bol à nourriture, bouteille d'eau, 22 po x 17 po x 22 po

Great cage for Syrian Hamster plenty of space! It’s easy to assemble and sturdy. Overall pleased with product.

The way the bottom plastic bin is constructed is not good. For hamsters. There is raised plastic inwards above the wheel areas, and the critters started chewing on those raised areas and created holes. They now continue to chew at them and the holes are getting bigger and bigger so they are trying to escape. It renders the entire cage useless. If there were no wheels and the bin had a flat bottom it would be much better and there wouldn't be the risk of them having something to chew on! Overall, we really did like this cage and we loved the deep base, but you can't have defective areas that allow them to chew and escape.

I ordered this cage for a single female juvenile gerbil. Gerbils LOVE having burrowing and digging space, so the depth of this cage is very good. That said, it's too small for an adult size gerbil or more than one juvenile (young) gerbil. Also, it's difficult to attach a wheel because of the shape of the roof. (I always attach the base of my wheel to the top so that my gerbil doesn't chew the plastic). I did replace the wire ladder and shelf with wooden ones for safety so my gerbil's toes don't get caught. I do like the shape of the cage overall and that it has a top and front door. If you have a very small hamster or gerbil, this would be a good cage. It's also pretty affordable and easy to assemble compared to other cages.

Great cage, though I find it difficult to assemble so that the ladder isn't too tall for the cage (sticks up).

3.5 stars bumped to 4. The landing platform isn’t ideal for a hamster- the spaces are too large for their feet to not slip through. Our hamster also needed a bigger wheel which didn’t fit great in the top portion so we made some modifications to it. He loves having more space to dig and store food in deeper shavings though!
