I love the look of it and it seems to be solid wood (or some sort of solid wood imitation). Style wise, it fits what we are looking for the TV and family room. No regrets in buying it. I gave it two stars for room for improvement because: #1 some of the predrilled holes were not correctly drilled and I had a hard time keeping the bolts to go in straight. #2 The predrilled holes had too small of an opening for the bolt to get started in straight, I had to very slightly drill the opening of each hole to be able to get the bolts screwed in. #3 Several of the cam locks would not lock especially for the two shelves. Putting it together, there is about 1//8" gap from the legs and the shelves on one side. Most likely going to have to drill in wood screws on the side and then fill with wood putty or filler. #4 One drawer fit perfectly, the other one had a good 1/4" gap so that it comes off the rails and falls out. Useless without a fix but I do think I have a fix.

This had quite a few pieces, but it only took my 15yo son about 2 hours to put together. It’s solid wood as described and it looks great. For the price, we are very impressed. Definitely happy with this purchase.
