We have had this chair approximately 1 year purchased for my mom who is disabled and had shoulder replacement. The chair began making grinding noises whenever it lifts or goes back down. It literally sounds like a jackhammer is working inside the house, that's how loud it is! Additionally when she goes to stand the chair wobbles forward causing her to lose balance. I purchased the 3 year warranty and they said these issues are not covered. The claim was handled so fast, immediately declined without further explanation or help. Wayfair says the warranty provides all the following which is false: 1. Protection against accidental damage and product failures (LIES!) 2. Covers accidents like spills, dents, rips, cracks, and more (Another Lie) 3. Fast service with easy online claims ( Yes, the fastest denial of a claim EVER!) 4. No deductibles or hidden fees (Well, yeah no claim either) 5. Wayfair Professional plans cover commercial and residential use (NOT according to Allstate!) 6. No registration is required. (LIES, you need to upload receipt to allstate or plan is not activated. which means no notifications or anything about plan expiration or terms.)

I like it. It is on the smaller side, it’s great if you want a recliner that doesn’t take up a lot of space. Although, I wouldn’t recommend it for a large person. It’s great for someone with mobility issues because it has a remote. The remote has a recline feature, a lift feature, heat and massage. It also has 2 USB ports conveniently located on the side of the chair. The chair is firm, not plush. The material resembles a lightly pebbled leather. My only concern is an indentation in the fabric on the front side of the back support. (See picture) I think this is due to how it was packaged and I’m hoping that it relaxes over time. It is quite heavy but easy to assemble. All you need to do is connect 3 plugs and slide the back pieces into place. Also, it does not have side pockets as described in the listing so there is no place to store the remote. Overall, it’s a nice recliner, and the features work well.

Awesomeness my mother n law loves it, so I am happy that she is happy. I recommend the chair for the elderly!
