Even after leaving both the inner and outer cases unzipped for over 3 weeks, the stuffing still has a faint odor I find unpleasant. They are stuffed very generously and come with an extra sleeve of filling. They can look a little bumpy although they feel very comfy. The outer case has a "bamboo" side and a "cooling" side—I didn’t notice a difference, possibly because my pillow case masked any effect.

Purchased these pillows and I do like them. I am a side sleeper, and found the pillows to be quite comfy as a side-sleeper. I will note that when I tried them as a belly sleeper, they were too high/full so I didn't find them to be as conducive for belly-sleeping. They were ok as a back sleeper. The look and feel is beautiful, although read description and note their is a fragrant smell from the materials. They come very flat/compact but fully expand once removed from packaging. They are cooler than average pillows, so I do find the cooling side to be calming and comfortable! I would recommend these for side or back sleeping.
