This product is pretty good and nice. Would have loved to give it 4.5 if there would have been an option. The only thing is the APP seems not syncing up with the RangeHood the way you expect. Like when the range is running, I tried few times to change the fan speed, but it never changed. Also, had a hard time resetting the filter change notification. Still need to figure that out.

We really wanted to like the PRO 500. We ordered it because its overhang over the stove was the largest out of all the models we saw, and we wanted maximum smoke protection. But we installed it and decided after seeing it in person that it felt too bulky for our kitchen. The sides were also too flexible and left a gap between the cabinet and the hood. Ultimately we decided to go with the PS 18 instead.

So I actually purchased this Pro unit a year ago and the renovation of our kitchen was taking too long and we went through a lot of contractors but long story short we just installed it last week approximately a year after I purchased and it was literally one of the best purchases for this new kitchen. We purchased a microwave, a mini fridge, new countertops, stove, island lighta and this one was the one that I am getting the most results from. I've had multiple people comment on how great it looks. The greatest comment has come from my very active cooking wife that it does indeed work. We are an Indian household so we cook food that has a very strong sense of smell and with this unit and the power it brings to the table, we can barely smell anything throughout the house. Id definitely recommend this unit for anyone looking for a nice looking vent and one that really works. I'd give this more than five stars if I could!

It is powerful and low noise. We have an open kitchen and the living room always get smelly after cooking. But with the Pro500, we haven't smell much in any other rooms in our house. And my hair never smell like cooking anymore. I am very happy with this purchase!

Pro500SS - we recently installed this hood ourselves and was ab easy install. The instructions were easy to follow. We are very satisfied with this hood. The exhaust is really good, easy to use contol panel and we like how it looks in our kitchen. We previously had a microwave hood combo and was not good. This model has 4 strength settings and can be controlled by a wave of the hand and by bluetooth. Its easy to clean. We definitely would recommend this product to family and friends.
