Exactly what I needed to convert a recessed light to a hanging light. Easy to use.

The medallion doesn’t sit flush with the ceiling and looks cheap. It will probably need to be caulked and painted.

Made the transition from recessed light to chandelier so much easier. Love how the kit provide more flexible lighting options for the homeowner

It makes us able to change our can light fixture to a much brighter new fixture. Yeah!

We have so many can-lights throughout our house… we wonder if the contractor was just lazy. We’re trying out this modification to install a better light fixture to see how it looks. If it looks good we definitely plan on getting several more for bedrooms bathrooms to put in better designed functional light fixtures. I’ll update post once installed with a fixture that looks better.
