It's not really that bad. Some of the holes were out of place and the instructions had steps that just didn't work. They had you put dowels in to hold things in place and of course they fell right out. But I did get it together by myself-I'm a small 78 yr. old woman. It looks fine and the big drawers are just what I needed. Just what I expected for the price.

Frame seems to be fine so far, despite the awful delivery condition. Package had clearly been badly handled, opened, and taped back together - perhaps even tried and returned. Foam packing was mostly missing or broken. Wood pieces were all loose and rattling around in the box.

I built two of these in king size. A great value at this price point. I was pleased with the design, material, and walnut color. They ce well packed with protective Styrofoam and packed in heavy cardboard. With the exception of two imperfections in the interior color of two drawers the finish was flawless. Assembly was straight forward. The wood is dense enough to firmly hold the screws supplied. The metal hardware was real steel and not a soft alloy. The drawers roll easy and straight. Assembly of the drawers is best accomplished by building out from the front and loose fitting the dated drawer floor before snugging everything. Start with the front of the drawer face down on a soft surface and build up. The slats are connected with nylon straps and roll on easily. Very sturdy and certainly handle the weight associated with a king matress.

Wow, I'm a 60 year old female. This was by far the easiest frame to put together. Comments on how sturdy it is.
