Love the color of these planters and they have held up well to PNW seasons. Nice and lightweight when empty so not too bad if you want to move them after planting. We filled half of ours with straw and half potting mix.

These are on my front porch in a group with Boston ferns sitting in them. I did do what someone else suggested and drilled drain holes in bottom. They look awesome!

I do like these and I use the larger ones year-round (fake trees with lights on my patio), but I had to find trays to put under both to keep the planter off the cement, as we found out pretty quickly that the cement was being stained by the metal/rusting. I also bought feet to use with the two other sizes (that I use for flowers), so that I could keep them off the cement to avoid rust stains. A couple of them came split at the top on the edges and/or dented in various areas, but I just put those areas to the back to hide them.

These planters worked perfect for the patio area for add some plants for layering, creating an inviting space to take a break. The color was not quite as coppery as I would have liked based on what is pictured, but the worked for the space.
