I purchased the set for the top and bottom of a stairway. Great price as a pair. The black is a nice change from chrome, which is what I normally lean to purchasing.

I have not had them installed yet. I believe they will make be an attractive addition to my front hall. I picked them because I am 81 and have to change my own lightbulbs. They are open on the bottom so that I can put in bulbs without having to remove a covering. I have to be very cautious when I am on a ladder. Had to include a picture so meet my cat.
