Great idea, terrible execution. These raised bed planters won’t stand on their own and require major reinforcement to be safe. The manual is useless. Do not recommend — save your money and time

There is no base or top as a typical gabion basket would have. This is essentially 2 rows of cattle panel not connected in any way. It looks fine after some finesse but does not look comparable to the gabion wall we have in another section of our yard and does not hold its square, straight edge unless you stake it down in several places.

I love this product. The directions are TERRIBLE, but once I figured it out it was pretty simple. Can be put together by one person but better with two. *You will need re bar wire to help reinforce - the rocks are so heavy, that weight will make them bow out. But that's simple, and the end result is just fabulous. These are 19.7" H x 177.2" W x 19.7" D. You'll need way more rocks than you think!!

Used as sea barrier on the coast of Maine, see picture. Not easy to keep in line as the foundation is not completely level.
