Pineapple Study I - Toile encadrée de qualité supérieure - prête à être accrochée

I chose this print because it appeared consistent with my British Colonial design style. While many pinapple decor items are glitzy looking, this one is not. Rather, the print colors are subtle (brown, tan, green) and the image quality is fairly good. The colors are distinct and subtle and the shape of the pinapple is realistic. From a distance, the simple gold colored frame looks fine. However, it is very lightweight. Not sure what the material is (certainly not metal or wood) and the whole thing is put together with staples! The protective cardboard corners likewise were stapled to the frame and had to be pried off with a screwdriver. Aside from the corner protectors, there was no additional packing material. That said, it arrived intact. To summarize, this is cute if you don't get too close. I will not be using it in my living room but will try to find a place for it in my office.
