This light is better for a large bathroom - the light takes up a lot of ceiling space. It is a good light if you want a low profile because it does not hang down at all. We did have to cut a larger hole in our ceiling to accommodate the diameter.

I ordered this fixture with the Carrera shade for a bathroom remodel. The shade really went well with the granite used for the shower stall. The mounting base is made of a heavier gauge metal and feels very sturdy with a white finish. It is very easy to install, but most fixtures are. Has a clean, simple, classy look. Would definitely recommend.
