⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My honest first review of the Wayfair Head Spa Bed Review by The Lash Mafia I’ll be doing a FULL review of this head spa bed on my Instagram, but I wanted to start with my first impressions because I know there are quite a few Wayfair reviews out there that aren’t the greatest. Honestly, I was VERY nervous about ordering this bed. I had previously ordered a different bed from Wayfair and it arrived damaged, so naturally I was hesitant to take another chance—especially on something this large and expensive. But I have to say, my experience with THIS bed has been completely different so far. ❤️ ORDERING DELIVERY I called Wayfair… and called again… and probably called again after that because I wanted to make absolutely sure I knew what I was getting into. Every time I called, they answered my questions and were extremely helpful. I was also able to have the bed delivered directly into the room of my choice. The delivery itself was incredibly easy. The delivery team was fast, communicative, and professional, and they placed the bed exactly where I needed it. I basically had nothing left to do except unbox it and position it in my space. ️ FIRST IMPRESSION Upon opening the bed, everything looked good, and after plugging it in, all of the electrical functions worked properly. I will be leaving another updatereview once I have the plumbing completely installed and have actually used the bed for clients. ⚠️ IMPORTANT PLUMBING INFORMATION This is probably the most important thing I want anyone considering this bed to know. The plumbing needs to be planned BEFORE you install the bed. The shampoo bowl sits slightly lower than the pedicure basin, creating approximately a 2-inch slope for drainage. Because of that, your plumbing is best suited to either • Being installed in the floor, OR • Having the bed elevated enough to allow proper drainage. Your plumber needs to account for that slope when planning the drain. Also, both the shampoo bowl and pedicure basin have their own hot-water, cold-water, and drain connections. That means you need to plan for either • Two separate plumbing connectionssystems, OR • Properly merging the plumbing into one system. I personally have a great plumber, and my plumbing work is costing me around 450, but your price will obviously depend on your existing plumbing setup and what your plumber needs to do. Another thing to know there are two access points for the plumbing—one on the side of the bed near the pedicure basin and another on the back near the shampoo bowl. RECLINING FUNCTION The automatic reclining feature works, but there is one thing I wanted to clarify because I initially wasn’t sure what to expect. You have to press and HOLD the button for the bed to move. It isn’t a one-press-and-release automatic movement. You hold the button while you want the bed to raise or lower. ‍♀️ PILLOWS FACE CRADLE I LOVE that the bed came with two pillows and a massage face cradle. The rectangular pillow attaches underneath the bed using Velcro straps, which is a really nice little storageconvenience feature. ONE MORE THING TO CONSIDER The bed sits pretty low to the ground, especially when you’re trying to access the plumbing. If you’re going to be working underneatharound the bed frequently, I would recommend having a low stoolchair available. Alternatively, you may want to consider elevating the bed if your plumbing setup requires it. ⭐️ MY FIRST IMPRESSION 55 So far, I’m genuinely happy with this purchase. I haven’t completed the plumbing or used it with a client yet, so I’m intentionally calling this my FIRST REVIEW rather than giving a final review. But based on the ordering process, customer service, delivery, condition of the bed, electrical functions, included accessories, and overall first impression, I’m very happy with it so far.
