Love the top of this fireplace!! It’s hollow but looks beautiful. We love the look of this fireplace even the original color looked nice. The other reviews are true the panels chip very easy at the corners but it wasn’t a problem for us bc we wanted a black fireplace. It’s kind of silly we bought this to paint it BUT we loved the look just not the color we wanted plus it was on sale and other black fireplaces were over 1500 dollars so we saved 800 with a little labor.

Love this. Definitely will require two people when putting the two pieces together, but it’s beautiful

I like it . Just upset that you can see all the imperfections and bubbles from wood

Looks nice but instructions for inserting fireplace were unclear so it made it much more difficult to assemble than it should have been

I love it however shipping was atrocious. Just be prepared to get one part way before you get the other.
