Soupière avec louche Harvest Morning

Super cute! Nice size I used it for thanksgiving and a dinner party.

There are many negatives about this product. It is made of delicate material that breaks easily, does not insulate the soup, and would make it a necessity to use pot holders to carry the tureen to a table. There are no handles of any kind on the side of the tureen to ensure server safety. To store this product will take the greatest caution due to the thinness of the porcelain. Very impractical. I will use the pumpkin to serve Halloween candy. Caveat emptor. Buy a stoneware tureen with handles. Moreover, the packaging was horrible. Styrofoam (ugh) yes, but the two parts were held together by the filmiest of tape. As I extracted the cover, the ladle easily knocked against the cover and broke in two pieces. No matter. The ladle is the size of a large tablespoon. It would take five minutes to serve soup in a bowl with this size ladle. I would need to use another ladle that did not match of course. This product was a waste of its intended use. Very poor industrial design that I should have realized before purchasing. The pumpkin is cute and decorative but due to poor construction, I fear it will easily break with any kind of use.
