Color is not as pictured - the placemats are much lighter than they appear in the product photos. For reference, this is the placemat against my walnut table. Also, they don’t totally lay flat - there’s a slight cupping at the middle. I would have returned them but missed the window. Otherwise, the cork backing is nice and they’re easy to clean.

I love the cork bottoms! They don’t slip around easily. They aren’t real wood - it’s a printed design - but they’re still nice.
