Walnut is more the color of maple. Very light weight. Looks a bit inexpensive.

These look exactly like what you see in the photo, unfortunately the quality very poor. I paid 175 for the 24” size and they would sell at tjmax for something like 50 for the set. Super cheap frames, definitely not real wood.
