There was up well and dry but you will need to run an iron over them. I used them to line baskets as well as to anchor a center piece for my table.

When I opened up the package I assumed they were placemats because they are so large, but they are in fact napkins. For me these are a little on the formal side, but great to have when needed. Made well and I love the tassels.
