Absolutely gorgeous in person. Great quality wood, not all particle or pressboard. It has reinforced corners and tight joints. The packaging was incredible also. Very tightly packed with LOTS of padding material. It is very unlikely you would have chipped corners or cracked boards, even if it was dropped. We are so glad we chose this one over another that was about 250 less. You absolutely get what you pay for with this fireplace.
