I didn’t notice the wood border when I ordered this, and had I did, it probably would have swayed my decision not to order it. But... I absolutely love the picture... not the wood. Just my opinion. I didn’t mark it down for my not noticing the border. Sturdy, it’s been hanging in my bedroom for 2yrs almost.

This piece appeared brighter and more of a "statement" piece in the picture online. However, in person the piece is more subtle (however interesting) and didn't bring enough character to the room. This piece is not going to bring "glamour" or or a touch of spice to a room-however more of a calming effect.
