I bought this in February as a present. We unpacked it, looked it over, set it up and it worked beautifully! It was a little weird they had to glue mesh on some of the shingles to help control the streams of water but it didn't really interfere with the design. A heads up would've been nice, though. One week later it started having an issue where the water wasn't dispursing properly down one of the shingles and leaked everywhere. The pump was working fine enough (though it does seem to lose a little bit of power after about 30 min) but it looks like the resin material on one of the shingles eroded just enough to affect how the water fell. With this particular fountain, the water has to fall perfectly in one spot at a certain speed or else it ruins the whole thing, making it unusable. We had already discarded the packing material and box to return it so we fixed it as best we could. It was working fine enough until about a month ago when it started leaking again for the same reason. To make matters worse, more of the resin had begun to erode on other shingles, making the water fall where it shouldn't. We've babied this thing, paid a LOT of money for it, spent a lot of time trying to fix it and can't even use it now. I don't know if this is a design defect or if cheap materials were used but it's extremely upsetting that this will wind up in the trash.
