It is oven safe, it is white porcelain as advertised. It does have a good weight to it. And big enough to host with. Did discolor a little in the oven. The size comparison would be to a big dinner plate.

This is a nice set of platters. They are on the smaller side but perfect for a smaller gathering. Theyre ceramic and a slightly off white color. They seem to be sturdy and store without concern in the cabinet without a lot of packing protection.

Very nice set of 2 platters. I’m showing one of them being used as a dinner plate because I enjoy switching up plateware for a different look and usage. I only gave 4 stars because, even though there are ceramic, they’re very light ware that makes them feel more like melamine than their heavier cousins. Still a nice product.

I love the size and shape of these serving plates! At 14 x 8 inches, they’re substantial without being bulky or oversized. The classic white porcelain looks beautiful on any table, and they’re a great size for serving four to six people…or fewer. I think they’d be especially nice to use one for fish and another for steak or chicken. Simple, elegant, and very practical!
