Sooo beautiful! I love how realistic the logs look! I love the amber effect when they're lit. The temp blows out hot, but my one star removal is because there's not a way to easily go up and down in temp on the remote or on the unit, when you push the button it just goes up in degrees to eventually reset back down. You can go down one if you went too high in temp. The entire base of unit gets super hot. But it is self-contained heat, meaning it doesn't make the surround or the thing it's sitting on hot. Only any areas right in front of the heating element get hot, so can't have wood or other combustibles in that area. But if you have wood or other combustible material underneath or to the sides or to the back, it will not get hot. So that's nice. It's compact in width but deep. The feet extend further than the unit itself, so note that if building your fireplace yourself like I'm working on. Otherwise, still love it! (Ps, after you turn it off, it takes a minute or so for the blower to stop. Then it takes a little while got the metal frame to stop being hot. But, love the ambiance!

This item is everything it said it was. I could not be happier with this product! If I could give it 10 stars I would. The way the light dances through the logs in the different colors of flames looks like a real fire. Without the mess without the trouble of building a fire… just push a button and voilà, you have instant ambience. I did not buy it for the heater, so I did not try that part out, but I wanted something realistic looking instead of glop of plastic pretending to look like logs. I love love love this log set. The price is awesome. At first, I was thinking of a fireplace insert but then I saw these and I’m glad I kept searching and did not settle for an insert. This fills the bill plus some! Everyone thinks it looks fantastic.

Terrific heater! We had an electric fireplace from another box store that the warming unit went bad in and I was unable to get any replacement parts for. The measurements of this unit were correct so I replaced the other heater with this and it has worked perfectly, it even looks better than the original! The heat output is strong and quickly fills a 20x20 room. I would strongly recommend this heater.

Poorly designed, very poor manual, poor customer support from manufacturer and Wayfair. Avoid this product.

We are very pleased with fireplace! We really had few choices because of the smaller size. It’s fun and looks surprisingly real. We have not used the heat yet but have enjoyed the flame effects. The price was very reasonable.
