Summer Marsh II, peinture sur toile tendue

I live near the coastline and the colors in this painting are very true to what one would see in marshland which has been carved out by the Atlantic Ocean. The picture is very peaceful, and calming, as if one was looking out a real window. The shapes and colors of this art work, that is the pale blues, pinks, and green/golds are very soothing, and certainly could remind any one of happy summer days spent at the shore watching tides roll in and hearing seagulls overhead. The canvas I selected is quite large, but it isn't a dominating or overwhelming factor in the space, exactly the opposite. I hung my picture in my reading/meditation room. The canvas is just lovely and I would definitely give this artist's work a 5 star rating. In summary, I will say that I spent four and a half hours on the Wayfair website one afternoon, looking at 832 very large canvas choices, before purchasing this painting and it was well worth every minute!!!
