Looks great on the floating shelves in my kitchen. I would say the mat is not a crisp white- more of a cream color

Picture is more than what I expected. I already have this line of art in my foyer. The black frames I like. The picture frames are not cheaply made. The black and white art makes my foyer feel like you are walking into the themes on the pictures.
