These lights needed a Bluetooth/ wireless connection, and an app on our phone to get them to work properly. It was not at all obvious that this was the case when I selected and purchased them. We tried to hook them up without using the app, but they just flashed. Sadly we couldn't use them, and have had them for over 30 days, so can't return them. I think that it should have been WAY more obvious when I clicked on the item that they were bluetooth. I'm kinda annoyed about that. They were expensive, and now we are stuck with them.
