The light used with a dimmer give you various modes of lighting, 3 shown here, nice day light bright top nice dimmed down at night, enough to light the kitchen. This is installed over the kitchen sink, make dish washing a lot eaiser when you can see what you washing. Installation was easy, tuned the light on that I was going to replace and turn it's breaker off, then make sure it's not on any more of which means you removed the power. If you're installing this in a spot for th efirst time then you might want to use a volt meter to verify the voltage is gone or you'll pay a visit to the old song by the Doors called "Lite my Fire"! The best part about this light is it replaced a florescent light, this is a LED light that uses about ten time less than a normal light bulb, well worth the cause.

The light is great light weight very easy to install. only down fall is that with a normal switch you get 5000k daylight only, which it had a built in switch like other lights that you can select the light strength. But other then that the light is amazing, which i purchased a dimmer switcher .
