It protects my table from heat and water damage. It’s big enough to fit any sized plate, and any design on the plate. The ridges help it stay in place so your plate doesn’t slide around or off the table. It has to spot cleaned only. It can’t be washed by hand or in the washing machine or else it’ll become warped.

I love the circle shape - it’s a fun change from my standard rectangle placemats. I was nervous about stains with the white background, but they clean easily too! I spilled dark brown/red sauce on one and was able to get the stain out with cool water and stain spray. Excited to use these more with warmer weather next year!
