The description says it's over wooden stretcher bars. Actually, the frame is card board. The picture fell off the wall because the hangers tore loose from the backing. I have tried everything type of hanger available to get the picture hung up to stay. Has fallen four times; scratched the wall coming down and bent the cardboard frame the last time. The picture is beautiful, but it's useless the way it is. I've order numerous things from Wayfair and this is the first time I've been disappointed.
