I love the slow speed option and its stable stand-up design. The storeage clip for mixer blades is great for keeping the attachments with the mixer and out of kitchen drawers. It's a little heavier than I expected, but is easier to control the desired speed and is less messy.

I love the little clip that holds the beaters and whisk together with the mixer! It is so handy...no more digging in drawers!!. Balanced perfectly and sits perfectly upright with no wobble!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good basic hand mixer. The stir feature is nice to start dry ingredients without them flying out of the bowl and making a mess. It's easy to start new speeds with very little lag. The bowl rest is also nice as I've typically had to sit the entire unit down on a counter with dripping beaters (a little messy). The included clip is nice to keep the beaters and whisk with the unit. I would have probably preferred to have them in a case, but this works too. The black color with silver accent gives it a nice upscale look that goes nice with my black stainless appliances. I've mixed pancakes, brownies, and small batches of cookies with this unit. I've been happy each time with it's capabilities. I like this unit for the simple tasks vs my big stand mixer. This unit would be great for a small household and for someone just starting out on their own. I would recommend for light use.I would feel comfortable giving this as a wedding gift or housewarming to help with small tasks. I have many other Hamilton Beach items in my home, this one fits right in.
