I purchased this cover because, after several years, mine needed to be replaced. My old cover was better quality. The fit of the cover is fine but I don't find it to be extra thick at all. I can feel the grates of my ironing board as I iron, and my clothing are not as neatly ironed as a result. I'll keep this cover as a search for another one. I'm disappointed with this purchase.
