Attention Birders! You should choose this because of the bathing features. I looked at dozens before buying this one. It attracts birds with sound and moving water. It has a rough surface to grip so they can walk on top and take a bath, because it's the perfect depth to splash in — see my video of a chickadee taking a bath. (I tied a coated wire across the 2 birds to form a perch.)

Very easy to put together, works great and is very quiet. We just put it in our garden today so no birds yet but the look really fits nicely into our yard. We have several bird feeders around the yard so we are hopeful the birds decide to use the bird bath.

The birdbath really looks nice. That said it’s not really that functionable as a birdbath, because it has no depth at all. Also, I feel the product was quite overpriced. Birds can’t dip down and actually do a bath like they can do in a regular Bird bath. There’s an eighth of an inch of water at best that flows over a plate and then back down into the reservoir. This is really a garden ornament and not a birdbath. It looks beautiful, but I really feel like I wasted my money because I wanted something for the birds and not just something that had visual appeal. If you want to functional birdbath, don’t waste your money on this product.
