the box states "no assembly required" -- but I have to attach the hardware, which I consider assembly. I'm a 63 yo widow with health issues. I still haven't been able to hang the picture, so I don't know if I will like it. Plus the picture beneath the glass is not lying perfectly flat so there are some slight waves in the paper. Also, a black clip between the frame and the image is peaking out a bit from the frame. Luckily the picture will be too far away from anyone to notice, but that's poor quality
