I bought this to replace a glass top that accidently cracked into a thousand pieces while I was vacuuming. We bought the metal pads and glued them under for support on the metal frame. Perhaps these should be offered with the glass. It's beautiful, was packed very well and smooth to the touch everywhere. A great deal.
