Update: I moved the product in more of an open area where the buzz sound isn't so prevalent. I find that our guests are mesmerized by it! It's a great conversation piece. I added a star for that from my original review Previous review: I wanted to really like this, however, the sound the motor makes may be relaxing to others, but the buzz is not relaxing to my ears and more of an irritant. Maybe it is soothing to others. The concrete square doesn’t fit down in the platform so I may turn the platform over, but then worry of the piece gets knocked that the water will go everywhere. I will still use it as gazing to the water drops dancing around is mesmerizing

This fountain isn’t really what I thought. While it’s kind of neat to watch the droplets go down into the drain, the sound of the motor is what you hear most of all- not the relaxing sound of water from a fountain. It’s aesthetically pleasing with the concrete and wood base. It didn’t come with any type of cords at all- not sure if it was supposed to- and I had to use my phone charger to get it to work. I looked through the directions and listing and didn’t see anything in there about a cord. I think it should come with its own cord for this amount of money for goodness sake.
