Rouge, rouge, infini ondulations II - art abstrait de vagues modernes

The packaging wasn't very good. It was in a box with no protective padding at all, just the item in a thin plastic bag bouncing around. Fortunately there wasn't any damage. I was surprised at the canvas material. It's shiny! I wasn't expecting that, and it is disappointing. You can definitely see the glare from the ceiling light in my photo. "Cotton canvas" sounded like it would be non-reflective. Also the surface is not smooth - there is a bit of a texture. Not that that hurts anything, just unexpected. Maybe all this is normal - I don't have any other canvas art to compare it to. It isn't too noticeable, but because there is only one crossbar, the frame sides are slightly bowed in. This really needs another crossbar in the other direction to hold the sides square. Yes, those are negative comments, but they're relatively minor & I am admittedly picky. As you can see in my picture, I ordered two of these for my room design. The room is black & red with white trim & furniture. This artwork has all the colors combined, so it ties everything together. Overall I'm happy with my purchase.
