These are more like napkins rather than placemats. they are very slippery and crease and move around a lot on the table, so not a comfortable dining experience when using them. In the pictures they look more solid and absolutely flat and sturdy, which is not the case in real life. Note that the seams are also quite visible and make the mats bulky around the edges, which again is not shown properly in the pictures. I was definitely misled by what seems to be photoshopped images.
