A bit scratchy but they soften up a tiny bit in the wash. I followed the washing and drying instructions perfectly and they came out a wrinkled mess. I have a very expensive iron and they don’t make a dent in these. This photo shows what they look like after ironing once. I will have to dampen them all before trying again.Incredibly disappointed.

Be prepared to iron them after laundering.

Perfect accent to my placemats and my dish sets.

Made well looks great on my table.
