I’ve used bamboo sushi rolling mats before and this works just as well. It is flexible enough to roll the sushi, sturdy enough to keep the shape and press into square rolls too, and the best part is how easy it is to clean. The bamboo mats are so difficult to clean, but this silicone mat is a breeze. The only thing to be aware of is this is a little smaller than a typical bamboo mat, but it hasn’t affected my sushi making at all.
