I was pleasantly surprised at the richness of the color in person. However they are a little bit thinner than expect. Hard to show in a photo but, if you hold them up to a light, the light comes through. Not by any means a deal breaker but wish they were a little bit thicker.

Placemats are as pictured and look amazing on our dining room table!

These placemats are more black than charcoal but not worth sending back. The quality is fine but not thrilled with the color being darker than shown.

Very bright, cheerful, and they wash well.
