Item is extremely heavy (100 lbs) and we did pay someone to install it. I definitely recommend a professional, we had to move an outlet behind the hanging location so you wouldn’t see it. But the WOW factor has really upped the standard in my foyer! There is a slight humming from the motor as the reviews mentioned, but nothing excessive. I’m going to try and add a piece of rubber or foam between it and the casing - it’s caused from the vibrations of the motor. Humming is not continuous, it occurs sporadically and for short periods of time (less than 1-3 min). That being said, we do keep it in the hallway so if you plan on leaving in a bedroom the noise level may irritate you. I’m SO OBSESSED! I couldn’t be happier with the product. We’ve had no issues with splashing, I think the reviewers who mentioned that issue may have aligned the rocks in a way where that was a problem?

Terrible Leaks, switch at the top hard to reach

Awful. .It was broken and the guy who had to put it up couldn’t even box it back (not his fault ) . What we doing about it
